Cancellation Policies

SCDiving Cancellation Policy

This policy covers the following:

  • Scuba Classes Cancellation Policy
  • Local Boat Charter Cancellation Policy
  • Travel Trips Cancellation Policy


  • Classes that have not yet started will receive a full refund. All workbooks or elearning must not have been used.
  • If any portion of the class, workshop or elearning has started, you will receive 2/3 tuition refund.
  • If any portion of the pool sessions has been started, you will receive 1/3 tuition refund.
  • If any ocean dives have been started you will not be issued any tuition refunds.
  • You will have up to one year to complete the class without any additional tuition charges. Make up fees do no apply and may be charged.

  • You will receive a full refund with 14 or more days notice from the Trip Depart Date.
  • You will receive half credit of your trip cost towards another SCDiving boat trip, good up to one year, with 8 to 13 days notice from the Trip Depart Date.
  • No refund or credit for cancellations with less than 7 days notice from the Trip Depart Date.
  • No refund or credit for No Shows.
  • If SCDiving or the Dive Boat operator cancels the trip, you will receive a full refund or full credit good for up to one year.

    Our policy will be based on each contract for each Travel Trip. Normally, deposits will be refunded if trip is cancelled with in 90 days of the Trip Depart Date. Some resorts have no refunds on all or parts of the initial deposit. If this is the case, our policy will reflect the resort, dive operator, airline or other third-party policy.
    Less than 90 days, may result in forfeiture of any and all amounts paid.
